Will it Hurt?
The needles used in acupuncture are extremely thin and flexible. The patient might feel a sense of pressure or tingling at the insertion site. Once the needles are in, there should be absolutely no discomfort. In fact, treatments are often so relaxing that the patient may actually fall asleep!
